[MANNAM Peace maker] "What is
peace?" Questioning to Martin Luther
As most of us know, Martin Luther
King was the peace activist who worked for us to enjoy the world without
discrimination. He 'dreamed' for better world and spread this message
throughout American and to other places. Although he was killed in 1968 at age of
39, but his strong will for peaceful and equal world still remain in us. As
Martin Luther said, world peace is not a distance goal that we are fruitlessly
seeking, but it is the goal that we will arrive, sooner or later.
You can
make a difference by starting something small thing; such as sharing your
culture with others, joining our peace activities and voluntarily works.
Although
these little stepping stones, we can arrive the goal that everybody had been
longed, peace.
Peace
is not merely a distant goal that we seek,
but
a means by which we arrive at that goal.”
-Martin
Luther King, Jr.
