[MANNAM] What can we do to give back the smiles on children's face?

[MANNAM] What can we do to give back the smiles on children's face?

So far, the conflict in Syria have taken more than 5000 lives of children. This number only counted the number of children who are under

The recent news delivered the testimony of two young girls who are living in the fear of violence and in a danger of getting killed. A girl who lives in Damascus, Syria said "It's scary. We hear a lot of bad stories about what is happening around us. On the streets there are soldiers everywhere. We see smoke from fighting and hear bombings all the time."

According the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, approximately 100,000 people have been killed in this civil war. In this tragic number, 5000 of them are children under the age of 16. They were only elementary and middle school and some of them were even younger. Instead of running around the playground at afternoon, those children in Syria are frighten at the fear of bomb. "My classmates and I were all very scared. Kids around me were crying and shouting at the teachers because they were so afraid. Some called their fathers crying to them that they wanted to go home" said another girl who also lives in Damascus.

Not only threat but some people in Syria suffer due to starvation. Some have no place to go because their houses were burnt. Through the news and media, we hear how people in Syria are suffering.
I believe you, who is reading this post would not want them to be suffered. Then as a man who doesn't want them to be suffered, then what can we do for them?
Shall we go out there to support their military force?
No, if we take military action, we might can't proudly speak for world peace.
For people who suffer in violence in this middle conflicts, let us spread the peace.
World peace is not a vague idea, it is us who underestimate the power of peace. The idea of peace is one of the strongest way to help people in many different nations.
Many peace makers aimed to achieve peace with non-violence act, people like Gandhi and Mother Teresa. Why do you think they devoted their lives for peace? I believe it is because spreading peace will make people to truly achieve world peace, not because of the law or by the force. It can achieve the voluntarily peace that comes deeply from each one of our hearts.
We MANNAM International supports peace, we strongly believe we can achieve peaceful world through 'peace' if you believe the same thing.
We might can't fly to Syria to save those children and people, but at this very moment, you can spread the idea of peace to others; to your friends, to your beloved ones and your neighbors and co-workers.

If you want to contribute more about spreading idea of peace, please contact us so we could cooperate together for better, and peaceful world for everyone.
