[MANNAM] Jean Henry Dunant: Saving people regard the side.

What will you do if you see a bleeding man who seriously injured from the war?
Will you save his life even he is not your side?

If I ask the same question to Henry Dunant, his answer would be definitely "Yes!".

You might wonder who Henry Dunant is.
He is the founder of the international committee of the Red Cross.
The Red Cross is the organization that works worldwide to help people regard age, race, religions, nationalities and social statues, like MANNAM helps people unconditionally.

In 1959, during Henry's business trip, he witnessed 40,000 injured and dying people from the Battle of Solferino.
This moment in his life changed him from a business man to social activist.
Henry spread the idea of neutral organization for wounded soldiers and founded Red Cross in 1863.

His idea inspired many people and led to Geneva-based International Committee on the same year of establishing Red Cross.
Later he was awarded the first Nobel Peace Prize. His birthday May 8th, is celebrated as 'World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day'.

Henry Dunant spread the idea of helping injured soldiers regard their side, religion, nationality and race.
Henry's idea motivated many people around the world.
It was possible becuase Henry not only kept his idea, but acted up.
And I believe we can do the same thing!
Helping others could be little awkward or seems hypocrite to someone, but there are many amazing things that began with helping other in trivial way.
So let's act up our idea of helping others, starting from little kindness!
