[MANNAM] International Women’s Day

March 8th is the International Women’s Day.
There were many events which supports International Women’s Day in various nations.
Many associations, women's groups, schools, governments, charities and individuals from around the world held the event that support gender equability and women in poor condition.
One of them, there’s an event that I’d like to introduce you.
Kim Bok Dong and Gil Won Ok are both victims of the war who suffered in mistreatment for women. They suffered as a sexual slave during the war.
As the International Women’s Day, they came up with the idea the Butterfly Fund which can help the living of women who are victims of the war as sexual salve.

This is a part of Kim Bok Dong’s interview.
“I don't know what to say.
There should not be any war in any country but people are waging war with each other.
I'm sorry for people victimize by these dangerous situations.
...
We also suffered for no reason
We do not have much time left now.
But there should be no war for growing next generations and children.
I ask each and every country to fight for a world without a war.”
The International Women’s Day was made to celebrate and support the women who are suffering from gender equality and mistreatment.
They are not just strangers who have nothing to do with you.
They are friends of your grandmother, they are one of your own friends, siblings or mother.
Especially when the war occurs, defenseless women often mistreated.
I’d like this close it with quotations from the interview of Kim Bok Dong, old lady who suffered.
“There should not be any war in any country but people are waging war with each other.
But there should be no war for growing next generations and children.
I ask each and every country to fight for a world without a war.”
