[MANNAM] “Tae-kwon-do” — “The Way Of The Foot And The Hand”

Hi, MANNAM International friends! Do you know the sport in the photo above? It is a Korean traditional sport called “Tae-kwon-do”. You may have seen Tae-kwon-do performances on TV. In Korean, “tae” means "to strike or break with foot"; “kwon” means "to strike or break with fist"; and “do” means "way", "method", or "path". Thus, “Tae-kwon-do” may be translated as "the way of the foot and the hand”.[1]

Every week, MANNAM International Tae-kwon-do Club members get together and practice "the way of the foot and the hand”. We learn some new skills and perfect older ones we’ve already learned.

If you want to learn Korean sports or do some exercise during weekends, join us. We hope we can together build a strong body as well as spirit through this great sport.
