MANNAM : Iron Man - Looking for a world without war
A hero doesn't come out of nowhere, it has to be made by himself. Which hero do you think is suitable for this sentence? Batman who saves Godam? Spiderman? Neither, how about Captain America? Many super heroes that we know are a hero that is made just by chance. But Iron Man is a hero who was made by himself.
Iron Man. When I first knew that this kind of movie is coming out, I didn't have any interest in it at all. Because who wants a hero, that is made by bunch of Iron? I thought in the first place, that it might be just a funny story. But after I went and saw this movie, it became one of my best movies I saw in my life.
This is the story.
Tony Stark is a genius CEO in a weapon company. He can make any weapon he wants, and creates them just by himself. He is a millionaire who has everything so everyone envies him. One day, when he went to show the customers his new project, he got kidnapped by guerilla soldiers. They attacked Tony by his weapons. So Tony realizes that he made things that kills and hurts people by his own hands. He escapes from them by making a suit of Iron like a weapon. After he came back to his place, he makes a new weapon, which can protect the world instead of breaking it into ashes. He realizes what he had been doing to the world, faces the reality, and becomes a hero who can make a world without war.
A Human being wants more and more to fill their greed, and don't satisfy with their situations. They only see for themselves and snaches the goal, that is all to them. But, like Tony we realize that I am not the only one who lives on earth. We live on earth which is with many people, like countries, cities, and nations. So the point is we have to make a world where we can live with others. Tony wants to change the world that has no weapons and a place where everyone can live in peace.
What do you do for peace?
Or, shall I ask, what do you think you can do for peace? It is not a hard thing, or a hard matter. It is reality and what we need where we live now. We can’t fly around like Tony, and defend the bad guys myself, but with my little act we can change the world. For this I thought of volunteering is a good way to help the world and bring peace. By this way we can think not only just for my own self, but others. When we can help that is the time when we should help. MANNAM volunteer is an association where we can help the people who are in need.
